Services

We set very high standards for ourselves and the homes we touch.

Our team of talented designers and craftspeople is second to none. From conceptual designs, 3D renderings, interior design, and cabinetry selection to full construction services, we ensure that every project is guided by a comprehensive plan. We make ourselves accessible to clients throughout a project—and well beyond.

Housewright has learned over the years that the formula for success is simple: a superior selection of cabinetry plus superior service equals elated customers. Let us help you design and coordinate your next project.

Hands-Free

Cabinets Only

You’ve got all your bases covered as far as conceptual design and installation. Bring us your ideas or architectural plans and we will create detailed shop drawings and work with you to select the perfect cabinetry to fit your needs. Installation is not included.

Our hands-off services include:

We’ll take you on a guided tour of Housewright’s vast selection of custom cabinetry available from our cabinet suppliers. You’ll be able to explore all your options for styles, finishes, hardware, and accessories.

These drawings are essentially the blueprints of the space that will be referred to throughout the construction of your cabinets and the roadmap for the installers. Shop Drawings are detailed layouts and elevation drawings that include exact measurements. These drawings are also used as a guide for the final cabinetry order and other finish materials.

We will handle the delivery of cabinetry to your project location within the tri-state area.

Hand-Held

Use as much or as little of our help as you need.

Remodeling a kitchen with a contractor? Building a new home? Are you already working with an interior designer or have architectural plans? We give you the option of using as much or as little of our services as you choose.

Our hand-held approach includes:

We can make your vision come to life. Should you need assistance with the design and coordination of all of the critical components, such as the selection of countertops, lighting, appliances, plumbing fixtures, and hardware; the creation of an electrical plan, selection of tile or flooring, and final paint choices, you may want to take advantage of our expert interior design services.

If you already have architectural plans and a design in mind—no problem. We can work with what you have and help select the cabinetry that best suits your needs.

The cost of installation is not included in the price of the cabinetry and will be quoted on an individual basis. While we recommend that our professional installers handle the installation of your new cabinetry and hardware, we also know that in many cases, a contractor or interior designer/architect has installation covered. If Housewright is selected to install your cabinetry, we will provide an estimate for the cost of installation. Our services include “signing off” on the final room measurements, verifying plumb and level conditions, handling the tailgate delivery and fully managing the installation of the cabinetry, hardware and appliance panels.

An added benefit of a Housewright installation is our free, one-year post-installation inspection. One of our professional installers will return to make any final adjustments and touch-ups to the cabinetry after the first year of installation, at no additional cost to the original contractee.

Hands-On

Everything… and the Kitchen Sink

There’s a lot more that goes into kitchen and bath design than meets the eye. It can be complicated and overwhelming. For those who want turnkey services, from concept to completion, our hands-on approach might be the perfect fit. Our team will work hand-in-hand with you throughout your project, making sure everything proceeds according to the initial design blueprint.

Our full-service hands-on approach includes:

Our cabinet suppliers offer a broad range of styles to fit almost every taste and budget. Because the cabinets we use in our designs are custom and built to order, we start the design process by taking exact measurements and photographs of your space, or we work with your architectural plans. We then create two to three photorealistic renderings (CAD layouts) so you can see how the cabinetry will look and function in your space. A detailed quote for the cabinetry will be provided, which includes door/drawer style, moldings and finish details. Upon review of the CAD layout, you will have a very realistic idea of how the cabinetry will look in your space and the estimated cost.

These drawings are essentially the blueprints of the space in which Housewright will refer to throughout the construction and/or installation processes: the framing, plumbing and electrical specifications. Shop Drawings are detailed layouts and elevation drawings that include exact measurements. These drawings are also used as a guide for the final cabinetry order and other finish materials.

We’ll first meet with you to discuss how you use your space and get a sense of your style—all the essential ingredients that go into making a space distinctly yours. We’ll develop a profile based on your unique needs: are you tall, left-handed, a gourmet chef or functional fanatic? Do you need room for two or for six? Wine fridge or coffee bar—or maybe both? Magazine clippings or online photos are very helpful in clarifying your sense of style, likes and dislikes. A budget is then determined and other important components of your project are also discussed: countertops, lighting, hardware, and general construction costs. We’ll then translate your ideas and personal preferences into a design plan based on your needs and budget.

We will handle the delivery of cabinetry to your project location within the tri-state area.

All construction work related to the remodel would be completed by our parent company Teakwood Builders. This includes, but not limited to, demolition, framing, all mechanicals, windows/doors, insulation, drywall, flooring, installation of cabinets, millwork, painting and all finish items relating to your specific project.  We provide the skills and expertise from concept to cleaning so you can enjoy the experience.
