Luxury Born from History with Custom Cabinetry

A stately 1890s Colonial Revival-style home on an historic block of Saratoga Springs was sensitively updated with spaces better suited to the homeowners’ penchant for entertaining. An expanded kitchen features custom-painted cabinetry, a statuesque eat-at marble-topped island, a mantle hood with crafted corbels and pullout spice drawers, and ample perimeter countertops. The new wine cellar handsomely displays the clients’ collection of vintages. A reimagined mudroom invites abundant natural light, with built-in drawer storage and a work desk to corral paraphernalia for both people and pets. The primary bath was reborn as a lavish sanctuary with his-and-hers furniture-styled vanities.
